Well, I was going to get a Wii, But sinse they're so difficult to find, I think I'll be getting a 360.

We took Emi to get groomed today. She's back to her usual adorably hideous self, I'd forgotten she had a snout, for the passed few months she's looked like a baby ewok. Now...not.

mmmmm-gingerbread houses. Actually I hate gingerbread houses, but they have yummy bits on them. mmmmm yummy bits.

So, since it gets so much busier at Goodview during the holidays, a second driver is needed on Sundays, but since Steve doesn't want to work 5 days a week which is still less than full time since most shifts are about 6-6.5 hrs. He's so pathetic he's got a kid and another on the way, but I guess feeding them isn't important, as long as he can buy his smokes and booze he's happy. Anyway, now I'm happy because since he doesn't want to work Sundays he talked to one of the drivers from Panago to see how he felt about working Sundays, and if that's the case and we get lucky maybe I'll be able to convince him to stick around then I can give him some of Steve's shifts, and eventually maybe all of Steve's shifts. As Gary put it Steve may have killed his own job by possibly convincing this other person to work at Goodview-and all because he was too lazy to work an extra 4 hrs a week.

Over the passed 6 years my parents have gone on a few vacations where I have been unable or unwilling to go with them so they have decided to pay for me and Kerissa to go to a resort somewhere. We'll have to pay for the transportation, but the resort will be payed for. We'll probably do it next summer or just before the summer. Speaking of resorts, Kerissa and I spent a couple nights up at Tigh-Na-Mara, a very nice resort, but Kerissa doesn't care much for that kind of beach, so we probably won't go back, though it was very nice there.

Thank God for the GST check, with all those damn dentist and car payments. I'm glad I'm done fixing my face....for now any way. And the wisdom teeth will have to go too, sometime. Damn. At least at some point in the future, I'll have an excuse to take a week to be lazy and do nothing.

Well my car sucks. I shouldn't be surprised, it is GM after all. My alternator needs to be replaced. Fuck.

Well, I had a small lan today, James and Cole came over it was fun. Cole was good considering he doesn't play pc games so much anymore (he use to play professionally). To my surprise James sucked, though he did ok when we played fear and were doing melee only. Anyway, I'm looking forward to next month when I can have a few more people come.

Well something unusual happened today. Kerissa found a baby bird had fallen out of it's nest. Fortunately I was able to get a hold of Jen who told me I could just put the bird back in its nest, but since I had no idea where the nest was, that wasn't an option. However I later discovered a spot in the tree where the mother occasionally flew into, but it was at least 20' up, and I have no ladder and the branches would never support my weight-that and I wasn't even sure if that was the location of the nest. When I let her know that I didn't know where the nest was, Jen gave me the number for an animal rehabilitation center, Wild Arc it's called. Unfortunately I wasn't able through and no one ever called back, I guess they're probably pretty short staffed and busy. So after watching over the bird for about an hour (there are lots of cats in the neighbourhood, and I couldn't in good conscience let this little bird be tortured by some evil cat) I realized that it's mother had stopped coming around to check on it, and still having not received a call back from Wild Arc, I decided to just take the bird into The emergency clinic where Wild Arc picks up the animals that need rehabilitation. I hope it'll be ok, every time I reached for it it would open it's mouth in anticipation of food. I know it's mother had fed it at least once since it fell out of it's nest, but when I brought it into the clinic, it had been maybe 2 hours since it had been fed.

Well, I was pleasantly surprised when, after doing a little bit of research, I found that my car is fully loaded. It comes with every feature available in the sc2. That's a nice bonus.

Well, I finally got a new car. A GM! ME! I got a GM. I vowed to never get an American car, but, well I guess I lied. It's a Saturn SC2. It handles very well, has nearly all the options, I'm just worried about the mechanical reliability. Well if anything is likely to go wrong, hopefully it'll be in the next 3 months, because that's how long the warranty I purchased is good for. Now to go get some seat covers to cover the ugly beige leather.

I watched Munich a few days ago, I was disappointed, I found it was too vague in some areas, and it differed greatly from the book. For example Avner's father was mentioned a few times in the movie, but we never really found any thing out about him. Through out the book however, there were at least 2 or 3 separate occasions where Avner talks to his father, and there is plenty of foreshadowing of him being screwed over by the Israeli government. Anyway, I thought the book was a hell of a lot better than the movie, which would have been fantastic if it had been about an hour longer and been able to go into more detail on a few things instead of only slightly hinting at some things. Anyway, at least I have the best girlfriend in the world (hey it's MY entry it doesn't have to fit with the rest of it).

I was in an accident a couple days ago. Someone rear ended me when I was waiting to turn left. My car doesn't look that bad at all, but the body damage is about $1500 so likely a writeoff sinse the car is only worth about that much. I'll find out when ICBC looks at it next Wednesday. What a pain in my ass, but atleast now this will motivate me to get a nicer car. I'm just not looking forward to the increased debt load.

I just realized that it's been almost a week since I played Oblivion. In fact, I haven't played any games recently, what's up with that? I guess I've been too busy hoarding all the computer parts I can find. Hopefully that pays off.

I've got such a good job. As I mentioned before I cut my finger pretty badly. The doctor told me not to work for food safe reasons. so on Friday I got someone to cover my shift, when I went into work on sunday my boss did something really nice for me, but didn't want me to tell anyone for fear of the people I work with catching on and getting jealous. Let's just say from a financial viewpoint, it's as if I did work on Friday.

I cut my finger yesterday, first time I've ever had stitches. Also the first time I've been to a doctor in 5 years, damn I'm so irresponsible. Stupid cut makes it painful to play any FPS or FPRPG so, Oblivion hurts me every time I play it.

On Monday Emi had her cast removed, and there was really nasty sore underneath it. Now it's all healed up and she's had the bandage that was covering the sore removed. She's still walking on her two front legs though, I wonder if she'll always be like this. When she climbs on to something that is only about a foot off the ground she uses her leg to sort of jump off her leg, and she does stand on it from time to time (along with her 2 front legs). Maybe it'll only be a matter of rehabilitation, I really hope so.
